In 2008, Tiffany Meyer founded a web-based philanthropic initiative to provide reduced-rate, expert marketing and fundraising support to organizations and trainers teaching the internationally renowned Nonviolent Communication (NVC) process. The Help Share NVC Project provides a wealth of do-it-yourself, online marketing resources to more than 40 nonprofit organizations, 250+ certified NVC trainers, and hundreds more facilitators in more than 40 countries. More information about this program can be found on the initiative web site at www.helpsharenvc.com
Tiffany Meyer was introduced to the NVC process in 2001 when she attended a workshop series in Portland, Oregon. She was impressed by both the simplicity of the process, and its effectiveness in disarming individuals from the conflict, emotional pain, anger or moralistic judgments that often keep mutually satisfying resolutions at bay. She soon helped found the Oregon Network for Compassionate Communication, and brought record attendance to Dr. Marshall Rosenberg training events for four consecutive years.
Since 2001, Meyer has acquired well over 200 hours of training in NVC and basic mediation. And, she has worked diligently to incorporate its principles into her company leadership.
