what you receive:
- Custom designed website — Your key deliverable is a live, functioning, custom design website. Support includes all graphic design and site coding of your pages, copywriting, and basic organic keyword optimization. We design our sites using Dreamweaver, and when requested can also provide support for sites using Word Press. Our designs take into consideration how you will maintain site content in the future.
- Web copy development guideline — Because our packages do not include copy development, we provide an MS Word template to plug in your copy page-by-page, as well as your keyword optimization tags. Guidance in how to use this template will be provided to make this process as easy for you as possible. The guide also helps you edit copy to conform to web site writing standards.
- Development Support — We provide guidance to you to purchase your domain name, open an affordable host account, create an email list management account (optional), and other add-ons.
- Submission of site to search engines — Once your site is complete, we will submit your site pages to major search engines, and provide guidance to you to continue to do so in the weeks following our engagement.
our process:
- Creative Brief — Once you've placed your order you'll receive an email link to our web-based creative brief form. Fill this out as completely and thoughtfully as possible to ensure we have everything we need to design the website concept you want.
- Website Design Concepts Presented —Within 5 working days of receiving your creative brief, we will present by email, two website design concepts. You choose one concept, with or without minor changes, to move forward with.
- Finalize Site Design — Your package includes up to 3 rounds of additional changes on your selected site design concept to get it finalized. Once finalized, we'll move on to step 4.
- Develop Your Site Content — We work in partnership with you to write and keyword optimize engaging copy for you site. You have the option of selecting a package with "editing and keyword optimization" support only, or one that includes "start to finish copywriting support", depending on the level of involvement you want and your budget.
- We Build the Site — We will provide all graphic design and technical coding of your site pages, adding in all site copy/content, testing, and uploading of files to site web host server. Once drafted, we'll send you a link to begin reviewing all of the pages.
- Review and Revisions — Regardless of the web design package you purchase, you receive up to three rounds of revisions on content and minor design changes. Additional revisions (if necessary) can be purchased at our low Help Share NVC Project hourly rate of $65.00 per hour.
- Finalizing Site and Making it Live — Once your site is approved, we upload it to your site host and make it live. We also submit your site to major search engines. You will be provided all native design files on CD by mail to allow you to update the site on your own in the future, or work with another designer.
