After building a successful career in food manufacturing, this husband and wife team decided it was time to hang out their shingle and meet a compelling need within the market. As a start-up consulting business, they were confident in their subject matter expertise, but needed help articulating it to their target market. Further, they needed help building a high-performing marketing engine to build their initial book of business, and to continue to grow that business over time. 


We began with our comprehensive brand strategy package to connect them to the state of the market in which they were competing, and a brand identity that clearly communicated their unique value. The identity package included coordinating a photoshoot with our partner Craig Mitchell Dyer for a brand-aligned set of team head shots, as well as building a library of relevant, brand-aligned stock images that could be used across their website, proposals, and blog posts. We than developed a brand messaging framework and a simple website complete with basic search engine optimization to ensure that the right decision-makers could find them. Finally, we armed them with a simple year-one marketing plan, easy-to-use workflows, and sample communications to help them manage critical business development tasks in house.
