The Executive Director of this micro-sized, regional nonprofit approached Numa Marketing with a common challenge—how to effectively scale her organization so she could move from "do everything burnout" to a financially thriving brand delivering optimum impact for her diverse clients.
Through several brand strategy workshops, we helped the Six Rivers founder gain important clarity in the relationship between how she was working and the organization's scalability. The Executive Director found herself stretched across an abundance of service offerings reaching 4-5 distinct audiences, and was struggling to know where to focus her marketing resources, how to attract a steady stream of clients, and how to build the optimum staffing model to grow her team of two to support a case load that could triple in the next several years.
One of our key deliverables was a comprehensive set of Audience Personas and corresponding messaging framework, serving as the foundation for a corresponding overhaul to the organization's external marketing and communication materials. A website update was later tackled by the organization in-house. Equally important, we provided an external partner development strategy designed to guide the executive director to fulfill nearly 50% of her program delivery with expert partners and contractors—a low-risk model to support the organization's growth while freeing her up to focus more time on what she does best.
